    Description
    United States Commeratives Fantastic collection commemorative stamps 1893 -1968 in one beautiful Minkus album starting with cpl. Columbian Exposition Issue (1-5 dollar never hinged, some of the lower denominations with traces of hinge), Trans Missisippi Exposition cpl. never hinged but 2 dollar with small imperfection, good Pan American and Louisiana Purchase issues, special printings on 1930s issues with a number of "Farley´s Follies", and some good air mail stamps. The collection was formed by a Swedish sailor working at The Swedish America Line onboard M/S Gripsholm and M/S Kungsholm during the 1960s and 1970s with plenty of opportunities to visit stamp dealers in New York. Document from Cherryston 1969 included. Mostly good quality and except for some less expensive early stamps seemingly never hinged. RARE OFFER.
