    Description
    A very beautiful letter from Warsaw 22.4.1865 to St. Petersburg with ideal numeral postmark "1" of WARSAW (in four concentric squares and with curved foot) on Russian 10 kopek with additional "EKSPEDYCYA DWORZEC PRAGA 23.4" in red. The letter is sent only 8 days after the withdrawal of the first Polish 10 kopek stamp. Cert. Mikulski 1998: "Letters from this period are scarce".
