Description
Inverted Center Emanuele Filiberto. In 1928, at the Post Office in the province of Bologna one sheet of 50 was sold of this stamp with inverted center. Most of the known copies are used as well as some without gum (probably from letters not cancelled). Only two copies with full original gum are known to exist. This is considered the best one, very fresh and with very light trace of a hinge. Sass. # 228a In €250.000. Certs. Sorani & Colla as well as signed by A. Diena. Description
Complete Collection Italian Kingdom A fantastic collection in an elegant and very thick "Falcon" album 1861-1945. Absolutely complete acc. to the album and sometimes extra pages with varieties and often more than one stamp in each pocket. A large number of stamps are signed and as well many with certificates. Almost everything, including the old stamps, are mint, never hinged with very few exceptions. Starting with the Victor Emmanuel issues from Naples and Sardinia, followed by Italian Kingdom 1862 incl. 10 c., beautiful and rare 1863 values and all other important stamps and sets. "Back of the book" is very well represented starting with Official followed by the Revenue "Franchiga" incl. Sass. # 12 & 57 (certs), the latter one Sass.€57.000, as well as all others, Postage Due incl. some extra copies, Publicity pairs incl. the rare ones, Pneumatic, Parcel Post, Express, "BLP" and Airmail incl. the North Atlantic flight with the Servizio overprint and on separate pages, all the strips with the 20 different pilots´ names, 40 different strips in total. Further a small unusual section of not issued stamps, there are a few missing acc. to pages, but incl. Sass. Nos 220, 221 & 223A (two certs), each Sass.€21.000, and some other special areas incl. an important section Social Republic (GNR) complete 1942-45 with Sass. Nos 500 & 501 with certs as well as good pairs with military publicity, postage due and parcel post. Everything scanned on our website. An absolutely outstanding collection!
